AYBA Mission Statement

The Agoura Youth Basketball Association (AYBA) is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth build self esteem and self confidence through organized basketball. The AYBA strives to educate and motivate each player to achieve their own individual level of success. Character development is stressed through teamwork and sportsmanship remembering that the primary goal is for the children to have fun. Coaches and volunteers will always conduct themselves as ethical role models focused on the welfare of the children of our community.

AYBA 2009 Summer Picnic a HIT Deerhill Park - Sun Jun 21, 2009 The BBQ was a blazing and the 3 pointers were flying at the first annual Agoura Youth Basketball Summer Picnic. The picnic featured Burgers and hotdogs for all summer coaches and families and board members. The courts were also hot as the kids put together some fun hoop games to work up an appetite.
Summer Teams are Drafted Agoura - Sun Jun 07, 2009 Summer League Teams are drafted and you should hear from your coaches shortly. Please review the Summer League Rules before begining your season.
Cody Badalato Scholarship Award Oak Park High School - Thu May 21, 2009 The AYBA awarded Brianna Fischer the first Cody Badalato Scholarship award at Oak Park High School. AYBA Vice President, Drew Fine, awarded Briana the five hundred dollar scholarship at the Oak Park High school seniors award on May 21, 2009. Each year the AYBA offers two (2) non-renewable $500 scholarships - one to a graduating student from Agoura HS and the second to a graduating student from Oak Park HS. This year AYBA offered the scholarships in memory of former AYBA Board member and coach, Jeff Hall and Medea Creek 8th grade student, Cody Badalato. Nick Young Flight School
When: Mon Jul 27, 2009
Where: Oaks Christian School

Nick Young is a Guard for the Washington Wizards of the NBA. He was an All City high school player at Cleveland High and an all Pac 10 player at USC. Come hang out and play hoops with Nick as you learn fundamentals of the game and have lots of FUN.
